Structure and Responsibilities of the Planning Committee

The planning committee will be responsible for the following major areas:

• Planning Management - this person or subcommittee is responsible for the overall planning process, milestones and coordination.
• Venue and Registration - this person or subcommittee is responsible for the coordination with the venue and the registration of Joyful Noise and Echo attendees
• Music - this person or subcommittee is responsible for the pre-event coordination of music, equipment, etc.  They are also responsible for the practice sessions and the music portion of the worship service.  They coordinate closely with the Venue and Worship subcommittees.
• Worship Service - this person or subcommittee is responsible for the coordination of the worship service at the event.  They coordinate closely with the Music and Venue subcommittees.
• Free Time - Logistics for free time activities and the Saturday Night event.
• Communications - This person or subcommittee is responsible for the on-going communications with with wider group of Joyful Noise members and their spouses.
• Website Management - this person or subcommittee is responsible for the management of the website, security and MailChimp e-mail service.

Because of the small size of the committee, the subcommittees may only be one person.  As the event grows nearer, we may need to recruit more volunteers and form actual subcommittees.
