Planning Milestones
Based on the initial meeting of the committee here are the milestones we've identified:
- Develop a member survey
- Survey sent & response collection window
- Analyze and publish survey results
- Result is a ”long list” of potential venues
- Develop criteria for venue & surrounding location
- Evaluate the suggested venues against the criteria
- Result is a “short list” of venues
- Member voting on short list
- Site visit by venue committee or committee member
- Negotiate reservation with the venue
- Announce the venue and timeframe to the members
- Gather deposits
- Collect final payments
- Reunion weekend
- Post event survey
