We began the planning process with an on-line survey of the members. More details on the survey can be found here.

Venue Research

After the survey was complete and we had reviewed the results, we developed a “long” list of potential venues. After some intial research we narrowed the list of potential venues to four. We then did detailed research on each venue. For more information on the venue comparision process can be found on the venue comparision page.

Selection and detailed planning

Once we had completed the venue comparison, we selected the following two venues are potential sites:

• Montreat, North Carolina

• YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, Colorado

Montreat was impacted by Hurricane Florence leading to difficulties in arranging the reunion weekend. Therefore the committee decided to proceed with YMCA of the Rockies as the venue.
