Fall Foliage Tours
Late September into early October are typically the height of the season for viewing the fall foliage. During this time the leaves on the aspen turn shades of yellow and orange. The timing of the season does vary depending on the amount of moisture recieved throughout the summer. From Estes Park there are number of scenic drives which afford breathtaking views of the changing aspen.

Rocky Mountain National Park
There are a number of fine places within RMNP to view the aspens. These places include Horseshoe Park, Moraine Park, and Glacier Basin.
Trail Ridge Road is also a good option. This road is the highest continous paved highway in America.
Peak to Peak Highway
Colorado Highway 7 heads south out of Estes Park toward Allenspark. Along the highway you’ll be treated to views of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area.
Wild Basin
This basin is located at the south eastern edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. To reach the Wild Basin entrance drive south out of Estes Park on the Peak to Peak highway (Colorado Highway 7).
